The Lodge has 60 comfortable rooms and the famous Jack Hanna House and Silverback suites that are set in the verdant, green gardens, with huge gardens in front overlooking eucalyptus plantations,  and  pyrethrum farms.  The rooms are self contained with hot showers.

The lodge has a bar and restaurant that can offer you with a variety of meals and drinks both international and local. Unlike other lodges within the park this lodge has a business centre, with internet printers and scanners. Therefore if you are on a business trip and you decide to track gorillas for 2 or 3 days, you can still be able to run your businesses.

The lodge is one hour away from Kigali and can only be accessed by road.
