As dawn breaks you will meet the chimp family riding from their night’s nests and these you will follow for the rest of the day until evening when they will make their night’s nests.

As you walk through Kibale forest, you will see a number of other wild animals besides the chimpanzees among which will be bush pigs, some elephants, buffaloes and a number of other primate species including the black and white colobus monkeys and baboons.

During the Chimpanzee Habituation Experience the number one objective is to habituate chimpanzees a process that involves getting the chimps accustomed to human presence through removing the fear they have for people.
