Day 1; Transfer to L. Mburo national park.
Our tours guide will come pick you up from your hotel/ place where you will be in the morning. He will brief you and the drive you to Lake Mburo national park located in the western direction of the country in Mbarara. You will drive through Kampala to Masaka and till you get to Mbarara where this park is located. This drive takes about 3-4 hours and you can always stop over at a few places like at the equator to take some pictures, at Royal Drum makers in Mpanbire before you continue to Lake Mburo National Park. This Park is an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of zebra, impala, eland, topis, bush bucks, water bucks and other animals which you will see along side the road before you get to inside the park. Bird watchers can also expect to see lots of them among which is Uganda’s crested crane, there are the African fin foot, papyrus bush shrike. You will have lunch when you get there and after lunch, you will go for the afternoon boat / canoe ride during which you will have the opportunity to see lots of hippos, Crocodiles, birds like the Fish Eagles, Crested Cranes, African King fisher, Pelicans, among others. Day 2; Game drive and transfer to Bwindi
You will wake up to an early morning game drive in the park and this is the perfect opportunity you have seen almost all the animals in this park, the different vegetation. Animals that you should expect include the big herds of zebra, impala, eland, topis, bush bucks, water bucks, Uganda kobs, giraffes, and birds like the crested cranes and if you are lucky, you might see the shoe bill stork too .After the game drive, you will have lunch and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is a home to the mountain gorillas! Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge of your budget;

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking
You need to have breakfast early enough on this day so that you can get to the briefing point in time. You have to carry packed lunch because you will not have time to return to the lodge for lunch as gorilla trekking takes between 4-7 hours depending on where they are and it can take longer hours during the rainy seasons when hiking is not easy. You will be allocated in groups and then given rangers who will walk with you in the jungle as you search for these habituated mountain gorillas, he will provide you with all that information that you may need about the flora and fauna that you will see in the jungle. With all the required gears for tracking, you walk into the jungle and once you meet the gorillas, you will have an hour to sit in the jungle to watch the gorillas care for their little ones, feed them, play with them and each other, so you can take as many pictures as you wish to have. Later after that hour, you will walk out of the forest back to the hotel. Mountain Gorilla tracking is considered to be one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. You will walk back to the lodge where you spent the previous night in most cases, there you have your warm dinner.

Day 4; To Kampala
After your morning breakfast, it will be time for your to drive back to Kampala. Your lunch will be probably in Mbarara and later proceed to Kampala, stop over at the equator to take pictures if you are interested or buy some souvenirs at Mpambire drum makers’ point or any other place. The guide will take you at the hotel in Kampala or Entebbe where you spend night and the next day will pick you to take the airport. This night will be spent at;

Day 5; Transfer to the airport
You will have your breakfast in the morning and if your flight departs very early, then you will spend the night in Entebbe and will be dropped at the airport very early so that you don’t miss it. End of Uganda Safari with AA Safaris and Tours Ltd.
