DAY 1: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK | LAKE MANYARA | TANZANIA
A tour guide/ driver from AA safaris and tours will come pick you up from Arusha in the morning immediately after your breakfast and then will drive to Tarangire National Park located in the Manyara region and is the 6th largest park in Tanzania. You will have to carry paced lunch with you so that when you get to the park, you will go straight for a game drive. After the game drive, you will then go to the lodge where you will be spending the night and also have your dinner.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO SERENGETI
After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti national park which is located in the southern and the central part of the Seronera valley that the Masai people who are the indigenous people of the region call the serengeti to mean the land of endless plains thus the name Serengeti national park. This is one of the best parks that one can visit blessed with wonderful Savannah grassland combined with acacia trees and a home to so many wildlife. In the northern part is the Masai Mara river, the Grumenti River is in the western corridor covered more with forests and dense bushes, you will enjoy a game drive when you get to the park picnic. DAY 3: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO
Immediately after your breakfast at the lodge, you will go for the morning game drive. Serengeti is one of the parks in the world with the highest species of wildlife and you can expect to see lots of elephants, wildebeests, lions, leopards/ cheetahs, buffaloes and so many more that you may not be able to see in many other places. Besides the wildlife, there are also so many bird species, plants and among other attractions that you will be interested in watching as you drive through the park. DAY 4: NGORONGORO | ARUSHA
After breakfast at the lodge, you will then go visit the crater lakes floor and for those that love having the crater tours, then it will be very interesting adventure for you as you will have lunch from there, it will be like some sort of picnic lunches. In the afternoon, you will then drive to Arusha where you will be arriving early evening and drive to the airport so that you can catch your flight to Nairobi. DAY 5: HELL’S GATE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will drive to Hell’s gate national park which is in the north western direction of Nairobi with mainly the Savannah ecosystem and a home to variety of wildlife like the African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, and baboons are also common as well as so many bird species like vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, augur buzzard, and swifts. You will enjoy your morning bird walk with the aim of viewing birds on the shores Lake Naivasha. DAY 6: DRIVE TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
You will have your breakfast and then your guide / driver will transfer you to Lake Nakuru National Park which is also called the “The pink Heart Of Kenya” because of the so many Flamingoes that are found around that lake that they cover the lake making it shine pink . You will have your lunch break and after lunch, you will go bird viewing in the park and at the lake. The commonest bird that you will see are the flamingoes but there will be others and more to the birds, there will be animals like the hippos, the rhinos, elephants, buffaloes and many more to make your afternoon very interesting. DAY 7: LAKE NAKURU | MASAI MARA – KENYA
On this day, you will be heading to Kenya’s most popular park which is the Masai Mara national park so immediately after breakfast, you will drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley the longest Rift in the crust of the Earth to Masai Mara Game Reserve which is covered with unspoiled Savannah. Just like Serengeti in Tanzania, this park is located I the land of the Masai people thus the name and it is actually the northern portion of the Great Plains ecosystem in the neighboring Tanzania called Serengeti. It is a home to the “big five” lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard and elephant as well cheetah, zebra, giraffe and vast herds of plain antelope and numerous and other wildlife.
Accommodation for the nights will be at one of the excellent lodges, that is where you will have you meals too that day and also that night. After lunch and some time to relax and perhaps take a dip in the pool, you will depart with your driver guide for an afternoon game drive in search of the big five. As sun starts to edge dip into the horizon it will be perfect time to photograph the beautiful Mara rolling plains. Don’t forget this is the right time to spot the shy leopard too. DAY 8: MASAI MARA | NAIROBI | KENYA
After breakfast, you will go for a short game drive, then we drive back to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at Toona Tree Restaurant where you can enjoy some good Italian food, Check-in to a day room at Nairobi hotel. And depending on the time you will be leaving, you will have dinner too in the before you head to the airport to fly out to Uganda’s Entebbe international airport. You will meet your guide/ driver who will take you to the hotel where you will spend your night in Entebbe at the hotel of your budget which may be;

DAY 9: TO NGAMBA ISLAND | ENTEBBE
You will be served breakfast, and after that you guide / driver will drive you to the pier from where you will you will get to the boat for a ride to Ngamba Island where the Chimpanzee sanctuary is located which makes Chimpanzee tracking the biggest tourism activity on the island. You will reach in time for feeding the chimps and you will stand at the platform to watch, take photographs and then explore the island, find the monitor lizards, otters and variety of bird species. You will have your lunch and then, you will return to the main land in the afternoon Visit UWEC (formerly the Zoo) to see animals like the rhino, the shoe bill stork bird, peacock, python and other animals as well as reptiles and birds that you might not see when you visit other game parks and reserve in the country.
Alternatively, other than visiting Ngamba, you can go for the city tour on that day. This trail takes you to the Uganda Museum, markets in town, creative local arts and crafts markets, Bahai temple, Makerere University, the National Theater, Namugongo Uganda Martyrs Shrine, the Ndere troupe Center, shopping in some of the Kampala Shopping centers can also be done. Mean while the KABAKA’S TRAIL takes you to Nagalabi coronation site, Kasubi tombs which is the burial place for Buganda’s Kabaka’s, there is also the Wamala tombs, other places include the Kitereke prison ditch, Ssezibwa falls, Kabaka’s man made Lake, Kabaka’s palace Mengo, among others. DAY 10: DRIVE TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK | FORT-PORTAL
Immediately after breakfast, you will begin your journey to Fort portal in the western part of the country driving through Mubende making a stop over in Mubende for lunch. You will spot a number of tea plantations and the breath taking scenery through which the route travels. On arrival at Fort Portal you will take an optional visit to the Toro kingdom coronation site and later head to your lodge

DAY 11: CHIMP TRACKING | KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, you will go for briefing about the chimpanzee trekking exercise. You will search for primates like the colobus monkeys, families of chimps, a diversity of birds and an abundance of butterflies together with your ranger that you will be given after the briefing. This trek usually takes between 2-4 hours and so you will be out of the jungle by lunch time to have your lunch. After lunch, you will drive towards Kasese and you will be in Queen Elizabeth by afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel expect to see hippos that huff and spray only feet away from the boat, buffaloes and elephants lingering in the shallows, a diversity of bird species. DAY 12: PARC NATIONAL DES VOLCANO
You will wake up very early in the morning and go for an early morning game drive along the Kasenyi miles just before some of the animal go back into hiding. You will search for the lions, hyenas, leopards, water bucks and many antelopes, Uganda kobs, there will be buffaloes, elephants, hippos will be spotted where you get closer to the water body. You will also see numerous bird species like the black chested eagle, the swallow tailed bee eaters, pink backed pelicans, great and long tailed cormorants, African jacana malachite and a great deal more kingfishers. After the game drive, you will start on your journey to Rwanda, have a lunch break somewhere along the way and continue to PNV in Ruhengeri to Kinigi. Dinner and over night at

DAY 13: GORILLA TRACKING – VOLCANOES NP – KIGALI
After breakfast, your guide will take you for briefing by the park guides and later go for mountain gorilla tracking. Your ranger will lead you through the thick tropical rain forest as you search for a family of habituated mountain gorillas. You will need carry packed food as the exercise may take longer than you can expect which means which means you will not have time to return to the lodge for lunch. When you meet the gorillas, you will be given at least one hour to enjoy time with while you are taking photographs but must not use a flash while you are taking photographs. After the gorilla tracking activity, you will then drive to Kigali and spend the night in any hotel in Kigali, that is where you will have your dinner too or if you are flying out from Uganda, then you will cross the boarder and spend the nigh in Kabale and then next day drive to Kampala- Entebbe

DAY 14: AIRPORT TRANSFER | DEPARTURE
This is the last day of your trip and if you are to fly from Rwanda, then the guide will take you to the airport 2 hours before your departure time and if you are flying out from Uganda, then you will drive to Kampala, and then to Entebbe to catch you flight
