This island is located 9km from Kabale town on Bushara Island in middle of Lake Bunyonyi South Western Uganda. This island is the home to Lake Bunyonyi Development Company, an organization with strong links to Church of Uganda, the main church of the lake area. They use tourism to generate funds for several development projects around Bunyonyi.
Kabale is 5 to 6 hours’ drive from Kampala making it an excellent weekend get away. It is ideal setting for both conferences and workshops where we offer a scheduled, quite setting for seminars and retreats for any organization.
