DAY 1: AIRPORT PICKUP

When you arrive at the airport, you will meet a representative from AA safaris and tour, he will drive to Kampala or Entebbe town where you will spend the night and this hotel will be based on your budget therefore will be;

Budget- Hotel Ruch/Holiday Express Hotel /Tourist Hotel/ J-residence

Standard – Speke Hotel/ imperial royale/ Laico hotel Entebbe/

Luxury – Grand Imperial Hotel/ Kampala Sheraton Hotel / Kampala Serena Hotel/ Botanical beach hotel/imperial resort.

DAY 2 KAMPALA CITY TOUR

The hotel will serve you breakfast, and if you are in Entebbe, then you will drive to Kampala to start the Kampala city tour. This tour takes you different place within Kampala that have historical significance or just attraction for example, you will visit the Namugongo shrine where the Uganda martyrs were killed, put to rest too and so many people visit that place every year. From there, you can visit the to Kasubi tombs which is the burial ground for the ancient kings of Buganda, you can check out the palace too, have a brief view of churches like Namirembe and Rubaga cathedral as well as the Bahai temple. There is also an African village that you can visit if you are interested in seeing the different art craft and may be buy some souvenirs too. At the end of the day, you will return to the hotel for dinner which this time must be in Kampala.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO RWANDA

Have your breakfast early enough and then drive westwards heading to Rwanda. You will cross the boarder which means, its important that you have already processed your visas and in this case the East African single tourist visa will apply and then drive through straight to volcanoes national park. Once at PNV, you will check into your hotel where you will be spending the night and also have your dinner. This hotel may be;

Standard- Le bambou gorilla safari lodge/ Gorilla Nest Lodge / Gorilla View Lodge

Luxury – Sabinyo silver back lodge/ Volcanoes Lodge

DAY 4: GORILLA TRACKING- RWANDA- TRANSFER TO KISORO

You will have breakfast in the morning and then, carry packed lunch along with your significant tracking gear and head to the briefing point which is at ORTPN offices where you will get a ranger who will guide you in the jungle. Tracking takes between 1-7 hour and when you finally meet the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them, taking pictures, watching them care for their little ones, playing around.   Later you will walk out for the forest and drive across the Rwanda-Uganda boarder to Kisoro where you will spend the night and have your dinner too at any of these lodges below;

Standard – Chameleon hill/ gorilla mist lodge/ gorilla safari lodge/Traveler’s rest hotel / Nkruingo camp site / Wagtail eco camp

Luxury; Mt Gahinga Volcanoes Lodge / Clouds Lodge

DAY 5: GORILLA TRACKING- UGANDA

This day, you will be tracking gorillas in Uganda however, staying in Kisoro means that you have to have permits that apply to gorilla families that are around that section of Bwindi national park. So immediately after breakfast, like it was in Rwanda, you will be briefed, given a ranger before entering the forest top search for the gorillas. You have to have all tracking gears, packed lunch too because there will be no time to come back to the hotel to have lunch. This adventure is often strenuous but its is worth the trouble once you meet these primates and it is considered to be the most thrilling activity that no one should miss when in Uganda. You will return to your lodge in the evening after tracking.

DAY 6: DRIVE TO LAKE BUNYONYI

You will go visit Lake Bunyonyi after breakfast. This lake its name” Bunyonyi” which means birds from the fact that there are lots of bird species living in the island in that lake and in the surrounding area. When you get there, you will be stunned by the beauty of the scenery and calm environment. Lake Bunyonyi is the 2nd deepest lava dammed lake in East and central Africa with over 25 scenic Islands each with various legendary fiction for instance that Punishment Island which is a collection of the pain and tears of many Bakiga women b who were abandoned on the Island till death for conceiving out of wedlock. You will have lunch just before you go for the boat ride to see these different islands in the different points in the lake. Dinner and overnight at

DAY 7; BACK TO KAMPALA

This is your last with AA safaris on this trip and so after breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala. By lunch time, you should be somewhere like in Mbarara and there you will have your lunch, After that lunch break, you will continue with your journey to Kampala or to Entebbe if you are flying out of the country on that very day.
