Wildlife Lake Mburo, Bwindi Gorilla Trekking, Queen Elizabeth Safari

DAY 1: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

This trip will start from Queen Elizabeth national park and the guide will come pick you up from your hotel in Kampala in the morning just after breakfast and he will drive you towards the western direction of the park and may or not stop over at the equator for photographs. You will take some photos and then continues to Queen Elizabeth National Park towards the Rwenzori Mountain range. You will also enjoy a game drive en route during which you see mainly the Elephants, Buffaloes, so many kobs and Antelope species. When you get there, you will go for the afternoon 2-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel that connects Lake Edward and George. During the boat ride, there are so many Hippos in the water and at the shore, other animals like the elephants, buffaloes, among others will be seen at the shores taking water. Bird watchers will also get the opportunity to see a number of then making the place very colorful. The park has over 550 resident species. DAY 2: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast will be served very early and then drive off to the park for the early morning game drive. This is the time you search around the park for the different wildlife like the Lions, Elephants, cape buffalo, Warthogs, leopard, hyena, mongoose, water-bucks, Uganda kobs, Topi and lots many small animals like rodents. There are also so many bird species which means that even those that love watching birds will have fun during this drive as the park is a home to more than 300 bird species. You can expect to see almost all those animals except for the lions and Leopards, its not a guarantee that you will them. After the game drive, you will go have your lunch. After that you will start on your journey to Bwindi but will go through the southern sector of Queen called the Ishasha where you can find the tree climbing lions which means you will have for a short drive and search for these lions. Later on you will head to Bwindi and once at the lodge, you will relax a bit as you wait for your dinner. Lodge will depend on your budget too

DAY 3: GORILLA TREKKING | BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST
This day of tracking, you need to have your breakfast very early and then have your driver take you to the briefing point before 8:00am. You also have to take your lunch with you because the time taken to track down the gorillas can not be predicated as it take between 4-7 hours depending on the weather and where that particular group you are tracking spent the night. After briefing, you and your ranger will hit the forest and search the search. You need to have hiking boots, long trousers and sleeves to protect your skin. There are a number of trails but your ranger will have an idea of where they might be on that day and so he will guide your through, provide you with all the information that you will need to know and when you meet the gorillas, you will have an hour to sit with them in the forest, take, pictures, watch them care for one another, feed their young ones too. This is such an exciting experience that is worth the time you spend walking in the forest. After the hour, you will have to walk back from the forest to the lodge. And if your tracking has ended early, you can go for the community visit, visit the Batwa communities at an extra fee of $30 but if not interested, then you will head back to the lodge most likely where you spent the first night

DAY 4: DRIVE TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
After having your breakfast in the morning, you will leave Bwindi to L. Mburo National park in Mbarara and there, you will have your lunch too when you arrive. Later you will have afternoon canoe ride on Lake Mburo. Hippos, crocodiles, water birds are the commonest attraction there to see during the canoe rides. You are the lucky one, you might see the rare shoe bill stork too. After the boat, you will head to the lodge to relax as you wait for dinner and overnight at

DAY 5 : GAME DRIVE SAFARI | DEPARTURE
This the last day of your trip and when you have breakfast in the morning, you will pack your bags and go for the morning game drive, taking you along the lakeshore track. You will get to see large herds of zebra since this park has the highest population of Zebras in the country, there will be Cape buffalo, eland and Oribi, topi, bush and water bucks can even be seen along the main road, among other animals. For the Bird watchers, you can be able to see more than 250 species of birds in Lake Mburo and they include the Papyrus Gonoleks, Brown-faced Lapwings, the extraordinary White winged Warbler and Bare-Faced Go-away bird, as well as so many others. After the game drive, you will go have your lunch and after that drive back to Kampala and then the guide will take you to the airport if you are flying out on that day or will drop at any other place in Kampala if you are still in Kampala.
