Gorilla Resort Lodge is located at the entrance of the park and it has a stunning view of the Impenetrable forest – Bwindi.  Built to the highest and exclusive standard this luxurious camp is composed of the main lodge which includes a restaurant, Bar, and a suspended deck that features a campfire. The deck overlooks this tropical rainforest, the lounge, and the kitchen where the resident chefs provide the finest of all English and local dishes.

This high-end camp features luxurious cottages and East African Safari Tents that are laid down on elevated wooden platforms offering one of the finest views in the area. On these wooden decks, you can also be able to view river Muyanga in addition to this Impenetrable forest; Bwindi.  These luxurious tents contain comfortable log beds and furniture; they are also en suite with hot and cold showers available.

The lodge is 45 minutes from the nearest airstrip to the park and also 1 hour away from Entebbe or Kajjansi airstrip. By road, the lodge is on average 10 hours away.   Thinking of Tracking Gorillas in the Buhoma region, this is one of the perfect lodges for gorilla trekking. It is closer to the park headquarters.
