Chobe and Paraa Safari Lodges both situated in Murchisons Falls National Park under the management of Marasa which is the hospitality wing of Madhvani Group received certificates of recognition as top rated properties according Trip Advisor which a world wide industry leader in client based ratings of hotels, resorts, lodges, restaurants and other tourism attractions. They both got ‘Certificate of Excellence 2013’ which puts the two Marasa Africa managed properties into the top 10 percent of reviews given by visitors.

Paraa is located in the lower part of the park, near the main ferry crossing of the River Nile while Chobe Safari Lodge is set in the real wilderness of the upstream section of the Nile above the falls. They are located over 12 kilometres off the main Kampala to Gulu highway in the middle of a mature tropical rainforest with wonderful views over the white waters of the river which gives visitors an opportunity to feel that life of staying in a remote area.

Chobe Safari Lodge is popular for being a great luxurious five-star with great facilities and it has become Uganda’s key tourist destinations for adventurers with breathtaking panoramic views of the River Nile, coupled with the sounds of its frothing rapids. Meanwhile Paraa Safari Lodge is also known as the “Jewel of the Nile, but just as beautiful as Chobe. This is an encouragement and challenge to all those in the tourism business.
